Reading Your Bible

Faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the Word of God! It doesn't come any other way. Don't be fooled by "3 step" or "5 step" or "7 step" programs that "increase" your faith. Reading your bible will do that, and if those "step" programs don't say that - they are wrong!. (Romans 10:17)

What is the church?

Today while driving I heard on KLUV Christian radio someone refer to the church as a hospital. That made me think, that it's suppose to be where the sick come to be made well.

If you really think about it, nowadays SOME churches are more like movie theaters than hospitals. They are all about entertaining the customer. It shouldn't be like that, it shouldn't be a house of merchandise or pure entertainment. The church was established to offer the gospel of Christ to a dying world.

Service Over Sacrifice!

You can sacrifice everything you possibly can, but the only sacrifice that really matters is yourself. God wants you, and once He has you - He gets everything that comes along with you. What's the point of giving God your hand, if you first haven't given Him your heart? Give God your heart and everything else will follow suit.

If you read in the book of Isaiah 1:11, you will see the effects of an exhausted sacrifice. Enjoy your day and remember that God wants you! Godspeed...

Possibilities

Nothing or no one can hole you back from achieving all that God has for you! You cannot maximize your potent ional without God, and you cannot be stopped by anything or anyone with God. The problem that we often run into is ourselves. We doubt, quit, flee, worry or stress at any sign of opposition, and we begin to hinder ourselves from the very promises of God. Get out of your own way!

Accept or Reject

Exercise

Exercising/working out is beneficial for your health, body, and overall immune system. But what about your spirit - how do you benefit your spiritual health? The bible clearly states that bodily exercise profits a little, but godliness is profitable for all things (1 Tim 4:8). So exercise your godliness in addition to exercising your body.

Power In You

You have power inside of you! You control whether that power that is in you is dormant or dynamic. All throughout the new testament Jesus tells those who sought after Him for healing "your faith has made you well." This shows that the results they obtained came by way of their faith in Him. So my question to you is "what will you obtain by way of your faith?"
