Reading Your Bible

Faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the Word of God! It doesn't come any other way. Don't be fooled by "3 step" or "5 step" or "7 step" programs that "increase" your faith. Reading your bible will do that, and if those "step" programs don't say that - they are wrong!. (Romans 10:17)

What is the church?

Today while driving I heard on KLUV Christian radio someone refer to the church as a hospital. That made me think, that it's suppose to be where the sick come to be made well.

If you really think about it, nowadays SOME churches are more like movie theaters than hospitals. They are all about entertaining the customer. It shouldn't be like that, it shouldn't be a house of merchandise or pure entertainment. The church was established to offer the gospel of Christ to a dying world.

In Pursuit of Passion

It is so easy to get stuck doing something your not passionate about for 20+ years. Especially, if it pays the bills or provides stability. With the times being where they are we become skeptical with following our dreams! God give us wisdom and clarity...

Service Over Sacrifice!

You can sacrifice everything you possibly can, but the only sacrifice that really matters is yourself. God wants you, and once He has you - He gets everything that comes along with you. What's the point of giving God your hand, if you first haven't given Him your heart? Give God your heart and everything else will follow suit.

If you read in the book of Isaiah 1:11, you will see the effects of an exhausted sacrifice. Enjoy your day and remember that God wants you! Godspeed...

Reposition

When tasks seem impossible, things seem unattainable, you feel unqualified or you are filled with uncertainty, those are God's ideal working conditions. He enjoys showing up and showing out just to reaffirm, quicken, or wake up your faith! So do not give in to the temptation that comes with anger, frustration, doubt, or fear - God positioned you right where you are, and will reposition you in a moment.
