Both the minor and major things that God has done for you ought to be shared with someone. You went through the fire for a reason, and that reason was for you to share your testimony!

Sometimes you run into heavy traffic on the road of life. Life's traffic can slow you down, and delay you from arriving at your desired destination on time. When you are faced with bumper to bumper activity in your daily lives it is sometimes used to make you take a different route that will end up getting you to your destination even faster. So do not be afraid to step out on faith and out of your comfort zone and try a new route - especially with God as your GPS.

Sometimes we work so hard trying to fix something, prepare for something, or figure out something that we begin to stress. God appreciates your hard work and diligence, but He doesn’t appreciate you thinking you can work it out by yourself. You must resist the thoughts you have of God moving too slow, and hold fast to truly waiting on Him, no matter what. Do what you need to do in order to keep yourself in check in this area or else God will have to.

It is easier to have hope and confidence when your surroundings permit. We are at ease when we feel like things are in control. However, when the tides shift, and the tables turn we tend to lose sight of what we hoped for, and what we had confidence in. When this happens it is easy to become: uneasy, restless, frustrated, doubtful, irritated, distant, and in some cases suicidal. This is the time when we should increase our faith in God, and see hope in the midst of what seems like hell. Be encouraged!

Some believe that with age comes wisdom, but with age comes the possibility of wisdom. Just because a person has been going to church or working at a specific place for X amount of years, doesn’t mean that they are mature in faith or with their jobs. Sometimes those can be the worst ones, because they are set in their ways, and try to justify themselves by age, position or title. Just remember that some titles are given instead of earned, that is why you sometimes see little people on big stages.

As children of God we can sometimes be like little children who sometimes care more about consuming snacks, because they taste good, rather than fruits because they are good. We sometimes negate what is healthy for us, by consuming what is harmful to us. Mother use to always say “sometimes you have to eat what’s good for you, rather than what’s good to you.” Very simple, yet very significant for today’s topic.

We see false realities on television of what having money may feel like - then we spend what we do not have on what we cannot afford in hopes of attaining that false reality. We have some kind of hope that they at times have our best interest at heart, only to be disappointed when they fail us. God is not like this in any way, shape or form so why not always give Him the benefit of the doubt? Praise is what positions God’s participation. A wise man once said that praise is giving God theme music to fight your battles to. Just look at how much harder athletes perform when they have the crowd behind them chanting their name. The sad part is that we don’t mind yelling and cheering at a sporting event, but when it comes to praising God we say “it doesn’t take all of that.” With that being said, when was the last time you gave God a standing ovation?

God can give you so much peace in any situation that even you won’t be able to understand. Keep this in mind when you are facing: deadlines, lay-offs, cut-offs, bill extensions, meeting quotas or anything else that may put you under pressure. It’s also important for you to know that sometimes God likes to put the odds up against Himself, just so He can show up and show out. He is incapable of failing or forsaking you, so just wait on Him. He may not always come right when you call Him, but He is always on time!

God does not force you to do anything; He simply places something in front of you, and expects you to choose the appropriate response. This is similiar to how we put something in front of Him (in prayer) with expectations of Him choosing the appropriate response. In most cases when we do not choose the appropriate response we blame God. We blame Him as if it were His fault when it’s not at all. God gives us the ability to make the right choices, so when we do not make them it’s not His fault, it’s ours.

A lot of times you are being tested to see whether you will: love God or leave God, choose to do wrong or refuse to do wrong, pray hard or stray hard. The test that you are going through or will eventually be going through will reveal your true character. It is easy to bless and thank God when everything is favorable, but can you do the same when everything is not favorable? God is looking for followers whoare not afraid to suffer as much as they succeed.

This will serve as motivation, rather than just talking about your scattered thoughts. A wise man once told me that if you cannot describe your vision, then learn how to point at it. Once you are able to point at it, you can begin to describe it on paper, which helps your vision become a reality.

If He has given you a vision for your life it is not just for you, and will not be accomplished by just you.
