A God of Strategy

God makes moves with divine strategy. He worked everything out since before the beginning of time. He decides when, where, and how He will reveal those things to you. He wants to confirm and reaffirm His people's faith in Him. So let Him do what He does best in your life, work things out!

Who God Sees, When He Sees You!

Don't become what people think you should become, become whom God wants you to be! Even Jesus was faced with people wanting Him to become something He wasn't suppose to be.

Just because Jesus fed multitudes out of very little and showed them miracles they were going to try and force Him to become their King. Not the King of their salvation, but rather the king of their land.

The bible says that when Jesus perceived what the people were trying to do He departed from them (John 6:15). This goes to show that people have always and will always tell you what they think is best for you. Do not follow the opinions of others, follow the facts of God!

Start Your Days Off Right!

Some days are just designed to be longer than others. The best way to prepare for long days is to start your days off with Jesus. The bible clearly tells us that although we may perish on the outside, our inside is renewed daily. Let God renew you!

He wants you to start your days off on the right path. The path begins and ends with Him. They say breakfast is the most important meal of the day, they are absolutely right, if you feast on the Word of God!

Obedience is Better

Blessings come through obedience. How can anyone expect anything from someone they do not obey? God wants to reaffirm your faith in Him, and He can only do that if you obey His commands. He may have a particular blessing lined up for you, but you need to obey His instructions and directions.

Sometimes His ways are unconventional, but remember that He has your best interest at heart. So follow God not only with your lips, but also with your heart and mind. He will never leave you nor forsake you...

On Time and In Time

Sometimes we expect things to work on our time instead of God's. We want everything to happen when we think its a good time for it to happen. God has the final say in every matter.

Do not think for one minute that He doesn't know what He's doing, or that you can do His job better than Him. You may say you don't think that way or feel that way but if you think things should be done when you expected them to be you are.

God has a master plan for you. Have enough faith to sometimes just be still and know that He is God!

Finisher of Your Faith

I know that God has my back because Psalm 138:8 says that the Lord will perfect that which concerns me. So I will not worry or stress about my plans, my situation, or my circumstances.

God is the author and finisher of our faith. Let Him finish what He promised He will - your faith. This may be a test of your loyalty, your trust, and your faith in God. So keep your focus on God, and what Him focus everything else you have been concerned with...

Progress is a Process

Who are you comparing your progress with? Hopefully nobody but yourself. God has different plans, and different routes that are specifically tailored for each individual.

So why do we get caught up examining our situation from the same lens we examine others? If God wanted to give you what your neighbor has you would have had it, but God is much more creative that that. He knows your hearts desire, and what He has for you is for you! Remember it's all in God's timing...

Call to Prayer

Where is your prayer life like?

Are you submitting quality prayers or simply following a daily routine?

Well, only you and God know the answers to both of those questions, but I submit to you this;

The effective fervent prayer of a righteous man avails much. -James 5:16

Speak to God as if you would speak to your closest friend. Lay it all out there, God draws near to those who draw near to Him.

Find a place where you can have some quiet time to spend with God. Go for a walk, find a secret place where you can just zone in His presence. The more you pray, the more power you have - the less you pray, the less power you have. I dare you just upgrade your prayers today!

Words Have Hands and Feet

Words have hands and feet, they seem to grab hold of the things you speak...

They walk on grounds where actions sometimes can't reach, and lessons are learned by what words teach...

They can either activate faith or accumulate fear, by believing in something we don't see based on the things we hear...

But this is not about what goes in and out of ears, its more for you to think what your words have done over the years...

The Guessing Game

Why do things sometime feel like a guessing game? Life shouldn't feel like a guessing game.
Why guess at your purpose, calling, or career? Shouldn't you just know?

Well who in the bible struggled with their calling? A few different people, but God told and showed them. What has He told and showed you? If He hasn't told you or showed you anything, what are you going off of?

One minute you here and the next minute your there. Its not like you choose to be double minded, you are just guessing at the things of God. God gives you options to choose from - live with your choices and decisions....

Consider well what you choose to do, and if you didn't choose it - it chose you!

The Use of Faith in God

What is a major difference between a believer and unbeliever? The use of faith in God!

Now anyone can have faith in something, but who really has faith in God? God does not always allow you to see every move, or understand every situation. Sometimes He literally covers a matter, just to uncover your faith. It is easy to trust in God when you see instant results, or everything is made clear to you. What about when things take longer than normal or everything seems chaotic? Do you still have faith in God?

Believers operate their faith in God no matter how things look. Those that trust in their own reasoning, or resources begin to fear by the way things appear. Use your faith the right way by placing it in the stability of God's hands...

Isaiah 41:10
Fear not, for I am with you; Be not dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you, yes, I will help you, I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.

What do you think?

How do you see your situation?

Are you looking through the lens of faith?

When you look at your situation from a worldly point of view you tend to either worry, fear or become angry. Your only seeing for the moment of your current experience, and you are failing to see what God may be doing or showing you.

Not if you, but when you find yourself facing discouragement, take your eyes off of the situation, and apply your faith to it. God is both tactical and strategical. He will do something without you knowing it, and it will be the very best move for you.

Jeremiah 29:11
For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says the Lord, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope.

Invisible Blessings

It is human nature to recognize what you see, but what about those things that you don't see? Some of your biggest blessings are invisible. You do not always see what you have already been blessed with because you have been expecting something else.

Another common mistake we tend to make is comparing what we have with what others have. Imagine a kid who wanted an blue bmx 1000 racer bike. He always talked about it to his family and friends. He done all his chores and duties around the house, with hopes of impressing his parents. He even started saving his allowance so that he can purchase it himself.

His parents surprise him with it one day and he was ecstatic. They literally had to pry him off of it every night. He took it by all his friends, and they marveled until little Joseph from down the street showed up with a red bmx 1500 racer bike. The newer upgraded version received more attention. The first kid will lose interest and eventually will want what little joseph has.

We are like that kid. We see others get blessed and it makes us forget about what we have already been blessed with. God is the best gift giver, just do not get in the habit of comparing your blessings to others. Appreciate where you are and what you have even if it isn't much. God resist the proud but gives grace to the humble...

One's life does not consist in the abundance of the things he possesses.

Under Construction

God is at work in your life, which means that you are under construction. Construction sites are under authorized use only but sometimes under authorized use happens. Although this may sometimes hinder works progress, it however does not hinder works process. It will still be complete in a matter of time.

Now relate that to you, while God is working on you some things in your life slow you down. They are distractions meant to hinder your progress, but they cannot and will not hinder your process!

Philippians 1:6
Being confident of this very thing, that He who begun a good work in you will not complete it until the day of Jesus Christ.

Godly Security

Who do we serve in between sundays? Do we have a desire for God or a desire for money? The bible says that we cannot serve both God and money (matt 6:24). Consider how and what you choose for "financial security" instead of trusting in what is available to you; godly security.

God sees you!

When God sees you He does not look at you through worldly standards. He looks at you through His standards. The world says you are someone when you possess a certain amount of money or status. Not God, if you possess faith in God you are valuable. You have made a choice that all men should make, but that not all men do make.

Even when you didn't choose God, He chose you! Our life experiences tell us who we should be, but God's word tells us who we are in Him. The next time you feel lowly about yourself, or what you have done allow God's word to redirect your thoughts. Refer back to scripture and delight yourself in God! You blessing you!!!
